Single-use Assemblies

What are single-use assemblies?

The development of a custom single-use assembly begins with a custom design. This is a drawing of the assembly for the specific bioprocess application. Each single-use assembly is customised and uses tubing or reinforced tubing, fittings, couplings, filters, sensors, bottles, bags and other components.

What you can expect from us

avintos UltraPure

avintos UltraPure has combined experience and expertise in single-use technology products and applications. Together we can assist you with development from the concept phase through preliminary drawings, supplier qualification, approved drawings, prototypes, implementation and GMP assemblies. Each application within the upstream and downstream process requires a different approach.
We will work with you to design and optimise your process with each component you specify. Our technical expertise allows us to provide valuable feedback for process improvements or even avoid expensive mistakes.

Your assembly step by step

Requirements of the assembly

STEP 1

The first step is a discussion with our specialists to find out which solutions are possible for your specific production process.
We work independently of brands and will therefore not push you to use certain components or not. Your preferences are 100% the focus.

Design process according to your wishes

STEP 2

The preceding discussions are followed by a series of sketches which, once approved, are converted into official drawings. This process is carried out in collaboration with our subsidiary the assembly company Ultrapure International.
Subsequently, non-binding prototypes are produced and tested. This makes the designs clearer and more tangible. Any changes are easily adapted (and free of charge).

Selection of components

STEP 3

Once we have agreed on the design, we submit a competitive offer. After approval, orders can be placed. As soon as we receive an order, it is processed immediately. We look at the current stock of components and check whether parts need to be purchased. The assembly then flows into the planning of UltraPure International's cleanroom.

STEP 4

Assemblies are manufactured by professionally trained operators in ISO clean room environment (Class 7) at Ultrapure International. After production, all items are inspected by our quality control employees against the signed drawings.
Subsequently, the assemblies are irradiated or sterilised. In the meantime, full Certificate of Conformance (CoC) is prepared.

Finally, the single-use assemblies are delivered to you. They are ready for immediate use.
